Theo is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California (LMFT #122367 and APCC #5488).

Theo provides Assessments via Telehealth.

Theo successfully completed their year-long Fellowship as a Gender Affirming Care & Eating Disorders Fellow at RtW from Fall 2020 to Fall 2021, and thereafter they were promoted to part-time Assessment Specialist role. Theo performs assessments at RtW, and they also review other clinician assessments when indicated and provide training feedback and clinical recommendations on assessments. They also work in their own Private Practice in Silicon Valley, called Arco Iris.

They have experience serving diverse populations across the lifespan on a range of issues, including but not limited to trauma, eating and body image distress and challenges, depression, anxiety, life transitions and gender exploration and affirmation.

Theo is nonbinary and Latinx and is focused on providing trauma-informed, gender affirming care in English and Spanish. Theo is also an intermediate Somatic Experiencing student working towards their SEP credential. 

Theo has over 7 years of experience working in community-based health in the Bay Area, providing support to individuals and families in school, office and community-based settings. Theo achieved a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. 

Equity is an essential value that drives Theo’s approach and has brought them to RtW. Their practice is informed by somatic, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed models of care. Theo offers an integrative approach to therapy to provide individualized care to their clients.
