Pronouns: She/her

Ashleigh is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of California #31955.

Ashleigh was the first staff person to sign on to work at RtW in mid-2018; she engaged in her postdoctoral Fellowship with us for over 2 years, under the clinical supervision of Dr. Susan J. Gulbe Walsh and the Clinical Direction of Kat Zwick. At RtW, she specialized in treating eating disorders, codependency, and trauma for clients of all genders. In August 2020, Ashleigh became a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of California, completed her postdoc at RtW, and transitioned to her own private practice in November 2020. She from time to time provides interim clinical coverage for RtW clients when other clinicians are out of the office, for which we are grateful!

Ashleigh has been working in the field of psychotherapy and counseling since 2012; she has provided counseling services in New Mexico, Hawaii, and California to children, teens, adults, and families.

Ashleigh is certified in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

During her post-master's clinical work in the field and in her pre-doctoral internship as a PsyD candidate, Ashleigh provided individual, group, and family eating disorder treatment in Residential, Partial-Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient therapy settings. She has also treated those recovering from depression, trauma, addictions, and intimacy and attachment disorders at these levels of care.

Ashleigh combines her warm spirit and receptive style with an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing on different types of therapy, including IFS, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solutions-oriented therapy, humanistic therapy, and transpersonal psychology. Specific interventions she may use will vary depending on each clients’ individual needs and the task of the treatment.

Ashleigh sees adolescent and adult individuals, families, and couples, and will run therapy groups at RtW as well.

Ashleigh is a member of the Santa Cruz Transgender Consultation Group.
